Foursquare youths baptised

Faith

FIFTEEN young people were baptised at the Foursquare church in Port Moresby.
The church established in 2010 now has more than 300 members.
Youth leader Samson Las said young people were the backbone of the church.
The 15 included three boys and 12 girls.
They were baptised at Kila Beach on Sunday after a three-night crusade. They were baptised by Pastor Moses Koke and Immanuel Kare.
The Cephas church at Gerehu is one of the Foursquare churches in Port Moresby.
“The church is teaching the youths to preach, play music” and sing, Las said.
He said there are many churches in Port Moresby “but people are not changing”.
“That is great change for all the churches to wake up and preach the word of God boldly,” he said.
“The aim of the church is to bring the people together in faith and to live by faith so we can grow in faith to enter the kingdom of God.”
