BINTANGOR Lahanis coach Peter Warlock has been sacked.

Warlock who has brought renewed vigour in the Lahanis form in this season’s semi-professional Digicel Cup rugby league is left in the dark as to his removal.

A distraught Warlock yesterday confirmed that the Lahanis board first demoted him to assistant coach after the Lahanis lost to the Wamp Nga Eagles in the last game of round one.

Then things didn’t help when they drew with PRK/Prima Gulf Isapea in Port Moresby, then they beat Kemele Hela Wigmen and TNA Lions respectively in Goroka.

“After the Lions game I was informed from the Lahanis board that I will not play a part at all in the team for the rest of the season,” he said.

“I don’t know but I feel like I have been given a raw deal after all the work I have done and then been dumped with any reason is not professional. I know the Board has the last say in who they want, but at least they should have given me notice of their intentions,” he added.
