Fraud work commended

Let me commend the National Fraud and Anti-Corruption Directorate of the police department for arresting high-profile persons in the recent past.
I understand there are more complaints awaiting exhaustive investigation followed by interviews and arrests of several State ministers and department heads cited for abuse of position and official corruption. More remedial actions will go a long way to improve the corruption perception index of PNG.
Those convicted should face stiff penalties to send a strong message to those in position of authority not to abuse the privileges at the expense of taxpayers.
It requires combined efforts to fight corruption as no one is above the law. Still watching and waiting for more arrests.
