IT is always fun to be re-united with friends in school after the long Christmas holidays.
Georgitta Yuyugi, Tigal Salot and Georgina Wong are happy to be together again in school. They have a lot to catch up on.
They are in Grade Eight this year at the Kokopo Primary School in East New Britain.
The three friends are looking forward to the new year and will work hard to pass their Grade Eight examinations at the end of the year. It is their final year in primary school. The three will be applying for Grade Nine spots at Kokopo Secondary School next year.
“That will depend on our academic performance this year. So the three of us will be putting a lot of our attention on our studies so we can all attend the same school next year.”
Georgitta herself will want to do extra to improve her marks in Mathematics, while Tigal and Georgina are focusing on Social Science. Georgitta reckons she did well generally on her subjects last year “but need to put more emphasis on my studies as this is my last year in primary school”.
