Fuel prices drop: ICCC

 FUEL prices have dropped by between nine toea and 20 toea this month, according to the Independent Consumer and Competition Commission.

The price of petrol decreased by 9 toea to K2.63 per litre – from K2.73 last month.

Diesel went down by 20 toea per litre to K1.78 – from K1.98.

Kerosene dropped by 18 toea per litre to K1.72 from K1.91 last month.

Commissioner and CEO Paulus Ain said that during January, there was another decrease in the Singapore refinery prices for petrol, diesel and kerosene. 

Ain said there was also a further decrease in the international shipping rate in that period.
