Funds pour in for OOH

PORT Moresby General Hospital has received new linen from Holiday Inn in preparation for the Operation Open Heart (OOH).
The pillow cases and king-sized bed sheets packed in 25 bags were handed over last Friday.
They will be used by heart patients from July 30 to Aug 18.
Last week the RH Foundation donated a K10,000 towards the heart operations while Curtain Bros and Atlas steel have combined to fix the hospital’s leaking theatre roof at a cost of K300,000.
The cost covered repairs to taps in the theatre.
Air Niugini will provide free freight for four tonnes of the OOH’s  team’s equipment between Port Moresby and Australia.
