A WESTERN Highlands man suffering from a heart problem says medical treatment is beyond the reach of the average Papua New Guinean.
Thomas Win Timbi, pictured, from Kutinga village in Dei Council, who has a serious cardio problem and needs to undergo an urgent coronary artery bypass grafting at Pacific International Hospital (PIH), says he will need more than K70,000.
He will be holding a fundraising barbeque at Port Moresby Nature Park on Sunday (June 17) afternoon to raise funds.
Timbi said he could not afford to go overseas for treatment and had opted for treatment at PIH.
“I am appealing for assistance from good people out there.”
