Funeral set

THE state funeral for the late Steven Pirika Kama, the late Member for South Bougainville and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister on Constitutional Matters, will be held next Monday.
Kama’s body was repatriated to Port Moresby from the Philippines yesterday morning.
There will be a public viewing of the body in the Grand Hall of Parliament on Monday at 11 am.
His body lies in State at the Dove Funeral Home.
Steven Kama, 55, was a member of the United Resources Party.
He was first elected in 2007 and this was his second term.
He was appointed the Minister for Bougainville Affairs in the first O’Neill Government.
Following the 2012 elections he was the Minister for Autonomous Regions and only in January this year he was made Minister Assisting the Prime Minister on Constitutional Matters.
