Fuzzy Wuzzy Cup winners to be rewarded

ORGANISERS of the Fuzzy Wuzzy Nines are set to reward tournament winners SSG Roosters at an awards ceremony at the Rita Flynn Indoor Complex in Port Moresby today.
Tournament director Manu Lofena confirmed this yesterday.
He said the team and individual awards, and cash prizes were all in order and ready to be presented.
“We are doing it for the teams and players who deserve a better presentation of awards. The event is from 6-10pm,” Lofena said.
The Roosters and fellow finalists Erima Laumas have been competing for three seasons and they deserve such a presentation.
“This is in honour of them committing their time and resources to play in the Fuzzy Wuzzy Nines,” Lofena said. “This tournament is of great significance.”
He said teams were informed that only four officials and players would represent each side at the ceremony.
“We thank all our corporate sponsors for making the event a success.”
