Games opening was superb

 ALLOW me to comment on the opening ceremony of the 2015 Pacific Games in Port Moresby last Saturday night. I commend the hard working organising committee, their staff and all the volunteers on this spectacular, world class opening ceremony. All those people who attended the event and those others who watched from TV screens would agree that it was well planned and executed to perfection. We really enjoyed watching the entertaining displays by children and cultural groups from all over PNG and of course the spectacular fireworks. I fully agree with the comment by one of the organising committee members, “It as a show not done by stars but by ordinary people from PNG”. Congratulations for a job well done.
