POLICE in the National Capital District are looking for a vehicle owned by the National Gaming Control Board which has gone “missing”.
The vehicle is a Toyota Landcruiser station wagon, which was bought recently for K425,000.
It was delivered to the gaming authority fully-fitted with all dealer accessories which included fabric floor mats, alloy bull bars and medium window tint.
The vehicle was to be used by a former senior executive of the NGCB.
But its existence was not made known to new chairman Qwentan Cholai and acting chief executive office Eddie Mike since their appointment to the NGCB.
Staff in the NGCB handed over documents relating to the purchase of the vehicle to Cholai and Mike.
The vehicle, however, could not be located, prompting the NGCB to alert police on the “missing” vehicle.
The NGCB feared that the vehicle may have been  transported to the highlands for use during the general election next year.
