Get contractors who know how to build

 I AM delighted with the announcement by the prime minister that K100 million is to be allocated annually until all roads in Lae are fixed. 

Now, can we get contractors who know how to build roads?

I would like to see the PNGDF engineering division contracted to construct roads in Lae.  

It is a no-brainer considering the benefits. 

It will inject much needed funds into the Defence Force instead of the usual dishing-it-out process which cultivates the dependency syndrome.

Utilising the Defence Force as an agency in the development process will also boost the morale of the force.

We would get quality roads built by engineers who know their jobs.
