Getting a job in PNG

Letters

EVERY time I glance through the newspapers or online pages, I see job opportunities for people who have experience in the fields needed.
The Government is not concerned about the increase in number of jobless people and yet it talks about building the human resources of this nation.
We have seen an increase in the number of expatriates taking up positions in offices. Old people who are grade 10 dropouts in the past are still clinging to the hierarchy of Government offices.
The Government needs young and vibrant graduating students from higher institutions who can work hard and serve the people.
We don’t need expatriates who know nothing about PNG and old public servants who spend a lot of Government funds doing nothing for the people.
