THE Port Moresby Suburban league enters its grand final this weekend with  9-Mile Giants taking on Hohola Flies.
During the grand final launching on Wednesday POMSRFL’s Billy Yaki announced that  the winners of the final could earn a place in the Port Moresby  (PRL) competition pending PRL board approval.
“Fourteen clubs took part this year which was quite a tiresome effort in running the show but I’m glad that the season has concluded successfully,” he said.
Yaki added that the big plus of the competition was the inclusion of youths from within the suburbs in Port Moresby which which had a positive effect on them.
Captain of the Hohola Flies Michael John Eka said: “It was due to our president Solomon Kaie and the team that we have made it this far, and we will definitely do our best to win it.”
His counterpart, Raymond Wesley of the 9-Mile Giants, said that they were eager to enter the Port Moresby league next season and were determined to be holding the trophy tomorrow.
