Give Molsie a far chance

Letters, Normal

I AM a diehard Mendi Muruks fan although I am not from SHP.
I have been following the bemobile Cup closely and have come to appreciate the workaholic Joseph Omai, rising fullback Roderick Puname, Wesley Benny and live-wire halfback Joshua Molsie.
I first noticed Molsie in Wabag where he started his career with the Mioks in 2008 before joining his home team, Mendi Muruks, the following year.
Molsie was devastating whilst with the Mioks and he has maintained his form till today.
He is a committed and dedicated player despite his small size.
He is fast, nimble and can kick field goals with either leg.
Because he is small and fast, he sets up tries for the forwards.
As such, I was disappointed when he was overlooked in the games against Goroka Lahanis and Port Moresby Vipers last week.
Unless he is injured, I do not see any reason why he has been dropped especially with the national selectors scouting for Kumul players.
