Giving back to the community

MEMBERS of the Seventh-day Adventist Church celebrated the Total Member Involvement Day on Sunday by doing community work.
It is the second year it has been running. SDA members in Jiwaka carried out a cleanathon in Banz. Members from South Waghi cleaned up the drain at Kudjip market.
The event brings members from different departments in the church like youths, ambassador, pathfinder, adventurer, Adventist Community Service together to do community work.
Samuel Les, a member from Banz, said God created human beings and commanded them to have good stewardship over creation by creating heaven on earth.
“We must ensure we live, work and do things in a clean and healthy environment. God will have word for us at judgement day.”
