Is God angry with PNG?

Letters

I AM one of the many citizens of our country who has been concerned with Papua New Guinea’s vote against Israel at the United Nations.
Papua New Guinea stood against Israel by signing and teaming up with other nations.
Papua New Guinea opposed Israel even though Israel has never ever interfered with our country’s political affairs.
The fact is that because of Israel, PNG is a Christian country by accepting the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as our God.
And then suddenly the worst thing happened. We have been pushed out to face the wrath of God for voting against his chosen ones. It is really frightening and this mistake ought to be rectified.
Is the recent earthquake and aftershocks which shook and devastated parts of the Southern Highlands, Hela and Western linked to our position against God because of Israel?
Is the intellectual explanation of Earth’s tectonic and plate movements be the only accepted opinion as far as the earthquake and aftershocks are concerned?
