Nambawan Trophy Haus wants to change the perception of just providing financial sponsorship.

Company sales and marketing head Gregory Yeo said they wanted to aid all clubs that asked for help.

He made the comment when agreeing to support Golo FC to take part in the Port Moresby Soccer Association competition this season. The launching coincides with a Golo fundraising at Kopitiam Restaurant (former bemobile office) next to Carpenters Motors.

Yeo said Trophy Haus received a letter asking for sponsorship two weeks ago and had agreed to give the club new sets of uniforms.

“The company does recognise that it will take more than just uniform sponsors to keep the club going,” he said.

Yeo said the company aimed to help the club manage their resources by organising fundraising.

“A lot of clubs suffer from lack of support from sponsors. They just give them money but they did not support the club in fundraising, and Golo is privileged and fortunate to have support from Trophy Haus.”

Golo president and the former PNG striker Maino Kwalimu thanked the management for their support towards the village club.
