KAINANTU town, once known as a cowboy town, has now changed. The law and order situations are stable now and economic activities are picking up. As a citizen here, I commend the tireless efforts of the local police. They are workaholics despite the ignorance and logistical support from the district administration. The commander is a person with vision in both operational and administrative command. We see him as a straight-shooter and a role model in combatting minor and major crimes. I also appreciate the tremendous combined efforts by the surrounding community and law-abiding citizens of Kainantu. I appeal to the people of our fellow Kagua-Erave district to throw away those guns and cooperate with your local police as well as genuine leaders. Then, your district will be like Kainantu.
