Goods price hits people hard
LAMB Chops – PNG’s favourite meat – is at unbelievable K35.26 per kilogram as of 4.51pm Friday.
Our favourite NTB 900g pack Kwikai Chicken has gone up K14.95 from K12.95 just months ago.
This is top range supermarket I am talking about, it’ll be much higher at other shops in Port Moresby and even higher in outer centres in the country.
Essentially, it means common Papua New Guineans are paying more for less.
Work more for less pay.
Yet, no mercy, we continue to pay high taxes in all facets; GST, PIT, wharves, airport fees, court fees, motor vehicle fees, etc.
Public servants fee cut in light of sky rocketing consumer good prices is no matter of game.
The country is in a serious state of ailment!
