Gordon too dangerous

Letters

Gordon’s main bus stop near the police barracks in Port Moresby is becoming unsafe for students going home after school.
Stealing, pick-pocketing and knife-point hold-ups are becoming common.
While it is dangerous enough for boys, it’s worse for girls and mothers.
Street people in the vicinity of the bus stop behave as if that is their land.
I am also worried about the food being sold on the street there. Is it safe to eat? Are health inspectors looking at it to ensure they are safe to eat?
These are usually expired stock and no one knows for sure about the quality. The police and health inspectors should do something.
