Ramu Agri Industry Ltd (RAIL) has given K5,000 and 50 cartons of its brand of sugar sachets to organisers of the Goroka Show.

Public Relations officer Sharon Onsa told show president Keryn Hargreaves in Goroka that the company had been a strong supporter of the show.

“We are happy to support the show which is a popular event in the year,” Onsa said

“RAIL has been supporting the show for the last four years.”

“The Goroka Show is a diverse cultural event that promotes indigenous tradition, folklores and beliefs.”

Onsa said the show always attracted many tourists and people from other provinces.

Hargreaves said RAIL’s continued support would go a long way to promote the country’s diverse culture.

Coca Cola Amatil also gave K20,000 in cash and K5,000 in kind.

The management of the soft drink company was assured that only Coca Cola products would be sold at the event.
