THE country’s infrastructure such as roads, airstrips, buildings, sporting amenities, communication, electricity, water supplies and sanitation have continued to provide the foundation for development.

The government’s approach to infrastructure development and maintenance needs immediate and special attention.

Urgent rehabilitation, prioritisation and sustained support for maintenance programmes will ensure that state assets remain in good condition.

The infrastructure platform is the main catalyst upon which service delivery programmes and programmes for sustaining people livelihoods.

Infrastructure development is vital and must be given priority in all development agendas.
