I WOULD like to commend NCD Governor Powes Parkop and the National Capital District Commission for a job well done in the past five years.
Since Parkop became governor, the people of NCD have seen a lot of improvements.
Traffic lights in the city were working at le-ast 90% of the time and all the main streets, roads and suburbs were well lit.
The elephant grass at the Jack Pidik Oval and Unagi Park were cleared, preventing people from carrying out their illegal activities in the areas.
Lately, maybe due to the rain, many roads were in deplorable conditions and potholes started appearing.
But overall, the condition of the roads were much better compared to years before 2008.
