Governor please explain

Letters

OFFICERS from the Eastern Highlands Governor’s office, who are involved in subsidising the funds to all tertiary school’s, should be answerable to questions from the EHP student body – who need answers.
Honourable Peter Numu should clear the air on this issue .
Firstly, the 30% school fee assistance from a K6 million funding from Peter Numu’s office has never eventuated, only 12% was paid.
Secondly, many ghost names and a number of upper highlands students names are on the list, who do not reside in the province.
Can the office of the governor inform the people of Eastern highlands why the school fee assistance has dropped from 30% to 12%.
Can the governor’s office explain this?
The governor cannot fool the young generations of Eastern highlands. His officers cannot blame each other but to be responsible to fix this problem before the year ends. Over to you, governor.
