Govt seeking K2 billion loan sign of corruption

Letters

THE front page story “State seeking K2bil loan” on Wednesday’s The National is a sign of a corrupt deal by the Government and should not be entertained.
The 2022 Budget was just passed recently, which included the passage of bank and Digicel tax levies.
Prime Minister James Marape should get the National Executive Council to advise the governor-general to recall parliament immediately or wait for January parliament sitting and recall the 2022 Budget, review and pass it again to exclude the tax levies before discussing any project loans with Bank South Pacific Financial Group Ltd.
