Grade 10 teachers not performing well

Letters

ACCORDING to the national examinations calendar, Grade 10 students will sit for their lower secondary school certificate exams on Oct 11-15.
While the exams are a month away, some Grade 10 teachers are not performing to expectations.
They are not imparting knowledge and preparing students for their examinations.
Core subjects taught in school such as English and mathematics are important and assigned teachers should be attentive, creative and committed.
I am told most topics in maths were yet to be covered.
This is the same with English.
The school principal needs to be tough on her teachers if she wants to see her school achieve better academic results.
As a parent, I am worried and do not know if our Grade 10 students will do well in the examinations when lazy teachers are not performing.
