THE Community Health Workers Association has welcomed the building of houses for health workers in Kwikila, Central.
General-secretary James Amuna was impressed with Rigo MP Ano Pala for ensuring the buildings were completed and opened for use last Thursday.
Despite his joy, Amuna questioned whether the houses met the requirements of the building board.
He said the housing project was a big issue since last year.
“Our union went on air and in the two daily papers regarding the poor planning of the housing project.
“Whether the houses were 100% fit for occupation is a question for the MP, Rigo administration, Central administration and the union to respond,” he said.
