A WOMEN’S group from Central recently visited inmates at the Bomana jail in Port Moresby.
The Paramana Ebenezer women’s group had fellowship and shared food with inmates from the prison’s minimum service unit.
The group’s chairlady Marreta Vali said the trip cost around K9,000 to get to Bomana from Paramana.
“This trip is all about Christian outreach programme that Paramana United Church Women’s Fellowship has been planning so far. The cost (K9,000) include transport from Paramana to Port Moresby and all the food that we brought for the inmates, are met from our own contributiona,” Vali said.
An inmate from Paramana village, John Vali told the women that their visit was a blessing.
