COMPETITION leaders Guria are set to maintain their top spot in the Port Moresby Super League women’s soccer when they take on the unpredictable Lamana outfit tomorrow.
Their win should propel them to 27 points, while equal-second placed teams, Mungkas will take on Yamaros to see who are the outright second best team.
University are on a bye this weekend.
Miriam Lanta’s team should have no problem over Lamana. Lamana will play two games over the weekend, meeting YMC on Sunday in their second match.
YMC will play Spartans tomorrow and on Sunday, they will take on Lamana.
YMC have been out of action for the past two weeks because of their travel to their respective areas for election in Rigo inland, Central province.
PS Rutz and POMSOE should fight out an even battle but the latter should win this match because of their speed.
The competition ladder as of last week is: Guria 24, Mungkas 23, University 23, Spartans 20, Yamaros 19, PS Rutz 12, POMSOE 10, Lamana 9 and YMC 3.
