Hagen does its bit for Team PNG

HAGEN city for the first time witnessed a big crowd taking part in the Trukai Fun Run on Sunday.
The event received a major boost from a local business house Dae Won Trading Limited.
The company bought more than K30,000 worth of fun run t’ shirts and delivered them to schools, banks and to police personnel.
Students from 13 schools, police personnel and bank staff were joined by other members of the public in the fun run.
Hagen city authority chief executive officer Leo Noki said that this was part of making things work out well for the people. He said that this fun run was important and he encouraged more residents to be part of the event in the future. He said other major centres were starting to follow Port Moresby and Lae’s lead and Hagen was no different.
