Hagen league final on

 THE Duma offseason rugby league grand final will be held on Sunday at Pope John Paul Oval in Mt Hagen on Sunday.

This was confirmed by league president Buka Yabra.

RS Masalais will take on South Sharks in the A grade final while Wasteland Reds will battle with Daico Brother in the B grade final. 

In the women division YMCA Mosquitoes will take on the Wasteland Reds.

Major sponsor and Hagen MP William Duma will officially kick off the games on Sunday.

The competition started in November last year.

Yabra said so many teams have been taking part and he was expecting the finals to be end well.

The competition has included women teams as well, with two of them qualifying for the finals.

“This competition has attracted many interested teams both male and female in the eight council wards in the city,” Yabra said.

Yabra said that he was expecting a good crowd of fans and supporters to turn up at the games.

“I’m appealing to you not to create any problems that will affect the games on Sunday,” Yabra said.

Mai added that teams were now in their training camps in preparation for the games.
