HARLEQUINS will face University Piggies in a Capital Rugby Union round 14 premier grade clash at Bava Park in Port Moresby tomorrow.
Led by captain Desmond Korpok, Harlequins beat Valley Hunters 43-3l last weekend to climb into fourth place with 30 points.
Try scorers in the team included second-rower Gabriel Biyama and halfback Phillip Singoina, who scored two tries each.
University drew with Wanderers 15-15 last week to maintain their second place with 47 points.
Number 8 George Oki and Barol Homerang will lead the Piggies in this match.
University coach Paul Joseph could not conceal his disappointment with last week’s match, saying they could have done better.
He said last weekend had some interesting turns in the game between the Wanderers and University while Juggernauts got their second win against Nova 25-18.
“This season which sees Nova drop to the fifth (from fourth) place and Harlequins move into the fourth place,” Joseph said.
“Nova must win and pray that University get past Harlequins if they want to make it.”
The match will decide whether Harlequins can make the top four.
Joseph said the competition was nearing the finals and the race for the top for would heat up.
