Have positive mindset, says governor

MOROBE Governor Ginson Saonu wants to see smart and educated Morobeans with positive mindsets to contribute to national growth through education intervention programmes.
He launched an adult literacy programme last Saturday in Lae.
Other intervention programmes include early childhood education, zero drop-out, border development, healthy village and good governance.
He will also assist villagers incorporate land group associations.
Saonu said parents were a child’s first teacher.
But not every parent could read and write to be able to educate their children.
“This programme is to train adult literacy teachers to teach illiterate and semi-literate parents.”
