Headdress of Miss PNG woeful

WHOEVER created the headdress for Miss PNG Rachel Sapery James should hang his or her head in shame.
How on earth can her headdress be decorated with worn-out bird of paradise feathers?
Our country is unique and has a rich culture and traditions.
As a highlander, I am proud Miss PNG, who is from the New Guinea Islands, chose to use a headdress from my region.
But why use old feathers and worn-out fineries?
That is unacceptable and a shame.
