Health a priority for PNGDF

HEALTH is one of the major priorities in every Papua New Guinea Defence Force operation. It is a must that soldiers deployed on duties in every operation are physically fit and free from illnesses to effectively carry out their duties. Here in Enga province’s Par Primary School, Warrant Officer Jessie Augustine (sitting), from the PNGDF medical team, routinely conducts medical checks every morning on soldiers to ensure they are fit and safe before being deployed for the day.
