Health worries

Letters

PERSONAL healthcare must be the priority of everyone.
The Government healthcare system is not adequately addressing the healthcare needs of Papua New Guineans this year which applies to other priorities sectors as well.
The Health sector was allocated K455.6 million in the 2019 Budget.
In 2018 budget, the Health sector received K1505.9 million.
There is a decrease of K1050.3 million which gives a grim outlook for the health sector next year.
Every struggling Papua New Guineans should be very concerned.
No one can deny the fact that the current cost of accessing private healthcare services is no longer affordable to low and middle-income earners.
People should now make lifestyle changes.
Watch what you put into your mouth, make sure the environment you live in is clean, and be active. It is better to act now than to regret later.
Your health is your wealth, so guard it well.
