Heavy vehicles a danger

I REFER to the tragic accident that occurred last Friday at the so-called “killer corner”.
Can our Government ban the big trucks especially semi-trailers and dump trucks loaded with gravel, including 20ft container trucks, from the freeway and use the Ela Beach Road instead?
Otherwise, can the Government come up with an option before one of our MPs loses his life along this freeway?
If brake failure is the cause of the accident, then I call on all construction companies and workshop managers to check their trucks daily before starting out.
Old and worn out parts must be replaced to avoid causing accidents.
Lastly, my condolences to the Lambu family.
