TRANS Wonderland managing director and Hela leader Larry Andagali has called on all Hela and Southern Highlands leaders to work together for the benefit of the people.
Andagali made the comment during a press conference organised by the Member for Tari-Pori and Hela Transitional Authority chairman James Marape last week to announce his decision to join Prime Minister Peter O’Neill’s People’s National Congress party.
Andagali said the province already had one prime minister and there was no need for another prime minister in the province.
“But all leaders need to support the prime minister as a Southern Highlander,” he said.
He said there was no need for Hela and Southern Highlands to fight each other when they should be united and work together.
“We do not want a repetition of the political past. We want to join hands with the Southern Highlands.
“The defection of Marape to O’Neill’s party was to strengthen the relationship and cooperation to develop Hela,” he said.
