High hopes

 THE Amanosa Rugby league team is made up of youth in Port Moresby who are originally from Amayufa, Asaro in the Eastern Highlands Province.

The team was sponsored by Sali Tuvi and wife Heater Tuvi, who are self-employed and live at Moale Gabuna in the surburb of Gerehu.

They sponsored the team in the hopes of keeping the boys away from drugs and other illegal activities.

The club is aiming for the grand finals in the local competition.

All players hope to make the Goroka Lahanis White and Lahanis Red to pick a side for the Goroka Lahanis in Ipatas Cup competition.
