THE Hilton Hotel in Port Moresby, NCD, is committed to getting its services fully operational with the health and wellbeing of its guest and staff the priority.
Responding to questions from The National, general manager John Lucas said most of its services such as its restaurant and bar were now fully trading.
Lucas said the hotel was continuing to monitor the Covid-19 situation and was taking into account the advice from the Government and relevant authorities. “The health and wellbeing of our guests and team members is currently Hilton’s highest priority,” he said.
“We are continuing to monitor the Covid-19 updates and responding based on the best advice of the Government, public health authorities and medical professionals.
“Our Feast Restaurant and Copper Bar are open for full trading.”
Lucas said they were committed to fully restoring operations at Hilton Port Moresby and look forward to welcoming guests and team members back per normal as soon as possible. When asked on the financial impact of Covid-19 to the hotels business, Lucas said it was too early to accurately measure the financial impact on the hotel.
