Hockey names OPC squad

MEMBERS of the Oceania Pacific Cup hockey training squad will resume training at Sir John Guise stadium in Port Moresby next Monday.
The tournament will be in Suva, Fiji, from Dec 8-15.
PNG Hockey Federation president Kal Potuan said attendance at training would be crucial for selection chances.
Men: Selwyn Tamur, Tapas Kangol, Polin Kangol, Terence Liliie, Michael Pokanau, Joseph Potuan, Hussain Lowah, Andrew Potuan, Eddie Gebo, Michael Potuan, Sapau Tapo, David Tapo, Milton Kisapai, Edmond Tapo, Michael Chakumai, John Isini, Clement Noah, Wesley Manuai, Pakop Kisokau, Borok Naron, Manly Kekesan, Kiapin Simon, Raymond Popal, Kepas Mormor, Michael Pomat (Port Moresby), Sam Dowara, Pomat Kanamon, Selan Popot (Lae), Pondrelei Popei (Manus) and Samen Soloi (Madang).
Women: Ruby Kisapai, Gabriela Kiapin, Terry Kiapin, Grace Baso, Tiani Tapo, Julianne Naron, Josephine Molean, Monica Wadi, Jessica Kaven, Christine Moyap, Kulamei Kahai, Imelda Wadi, Molly Fave, Goalie, Evodia Kondron, Daphine Rasehei, Terry Chakumai, Shirley Kangol, Ilan Brooksbank Monica Siwin (Port Moresby), Cyndy Momak, Tina Salaiau (Manus) and Elaine Hebei (Lae)
Players were reminded to complete their K3,000 levy fees and passports by next month. The final selection will be made this month so the players would have to improve their fitness level.
All the players from other centres would be assemble in Port Moresby on November 25 before their departure to Brisbane, and then proceed to Suva in Fiji.
