Hohola name sides for NCD Governor’s Cup

TWO strong sides have been named for Hohola Rugby League to defend the NDC Governor’s Cup during the Christmas and New Year festive season.
A team official Ben Yokon said Team One comprised of players who played last year and would be out to defend the Cup while the second team was made  of up-and-coming players from the Hohola suburb.
Yokon yesterday told The National that he was confident his boys would defend the cup, despite strong opposition from hosts, Morata Swans,  Morata Ducks and teams from Bomana.
He said the two teams are Team One: Castelo Nari, David Joel, Tobert Torato, Jeffery Isaac, Joel Maso, Roger Laka, Jacob Koi, Andalu Joel, Nicholas Kuman, Daniel Eka, Regen Wala, Steven Niap, Kaupa Horope, Kenneth Yambi, Topo Bonga, Benard Nala, Newman Abel, Gabe Sole, Kepson Kepon, Mosea Posu while reserves are Sari Saka, Stanly Olo, Danny Piaso and Julias Namae.
Team Two: Tony Kiu, Larsen Peter, Michael Eka, Amos Nelson, Andrew Anton, Felix Ann, Mich Raiders, Komsy John, Newman Sokou, Solomon Saka, Gibson Luso, David Exton, Terry Pu, Frank Michael, Larson Peter, Kipa John, Ford David, Igie Nala, Lafa Michael, Michael Leo; Reserves: John Hamae, John Pisoro, Peter Joe and Felix Gabi
NCD Governor’s Cup coordinator Billy Yaki said yesterday that Governor Powes Parkop had allocated K20,000 for the rugby league tournament during the festive season.
