MINING Minister Johnson Tuke says there must be transparency on the negotiation table for Wafi-Golpu project in Morobe.
“The Wafi-Golpu license is set for June,” he said yesterday after a mining dedication service in Port Moresby.
“The State has established a State negotiating team.
“We have got to go to all our agencies to make sure that all the boxes are ticked like labour, environmental, commerce and money.
“We have to go through all of these to make sure that all is in order.
“The company and the State negotiating team have established a timeline.
“As far as I am concerned, we are constant with the timeline.
“Addressing concerns raised by landowners is our primary duty.”
