Host quarterly forums

Letters

I suggesT for Western to look at hosting quarterly forums in different locations at different time, constantly. It’s important that this event has to be implemented.
Through this event, we’ll be able to hear from different people expressing their thoughts and raising concerns and problems they have in their LLGs and districts.
By doing so, will also help to identify problems and collect vital information as much needed as contribution of ideas from different people.
The process of classifying people whether it would be educated, uneducated, leader, not a leader, young, old, women, men, and students has caused inequality in the social standing, denying the rights of the individuals to speak for their rights about their problems.
The forum will give opportunity to everyone to participate and give people chances of expressing their thoughts concerning the entire province.
What they may speak will indirectly contribute to decisions the leaders intend to make at their level.
I believe this event will give directions to the province to come up with some good strategies to establish useful mechanism to help the province improve from the steady progress.
It is useful for a group or committee to make the decision to organise a forum, and after identifying the purpose and overall objectives to hand the planning over to someone else.
If the forums are very large or especially complex, then it could be handed over to a public relations expert who should be also part of the committee for a professional job.
Each districts in the province should has a forum planning division as part of its tourism promotion to promote their district as a forum destination.
They can assist with information of all kinds.
If planning a forum it is useful to make use of facilities offered by such organisations as the Western Provincial Convention Bureau.
Western, it’s your turn to make comments.
