House opener is PM’s statement

THE first agenda for parliament when it reconvenes today at 2pm will be a statement by Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.
He would make a statement on the address by Governor-General Sir Michael Ogio during the opening of the ninth parliament last month.
This would be followed by the appointment of permanent parliamentary committee members and their chairmen.
