A HOUSEWIFE at Rabia settlement in Kaugere, National Capital District, Sharlene Kila Mope is the seventh winner of the Digicel Super 8 win a Toyota Land Cruiser competition.
From Mapaio village, Baimuru, Gulf, the 27-year-old was still nervous and reeling from the shock of being the winner.
Mope thanked the company for the special gift to her, saying she had always wished to own a motor vehicle.
Her husband, Victor Iagata, from Rigo, Central, did not believe that his wife was the winner and had to call the company to confirm it.
Mope said she had yet to get a driver’s licence.
Other winners were from Port Moresby, Madang, Alotau, Lae, Lihir and Pogera, with the final Land Cruiser will be drawn soon.
Digicel Pacific Group commercial director Awais Malik said this was the second winner from NCD.
Malik said a competition like the Super 8 gave their customers a chance to win big.
