Housing a priority

 ACCOMMODATION for nurses in Port Moresby topped the agenda at yesterday’s meeting between the PNG Nurses’ Association, Community Health Workers Association and Port Moresby General Hospital board.

The unions called the meeting to hand over a petition to  board chairman Sir Theophillus Constatinou. 

Accommodation was one of the five main demands outlined in the petition.

The petition described housing as the most important and a major problem for nurses at the hospital.
