Housing deal for cops inked

 SAUDI Arabia-based Red Sea Housing Services (RSH) Company recently signed a 75 million Saudi riyal (K48 million) contract with Papua New Guinea for the construction of housing units for policemen in Bomana outside of Port Moresby.

As reported by TradeArabia news services, Red Sea Housing will construct 150 three-bedroom housing units on an estimated 70,000sqm land. 

The project comprises 100 units of 80sqm size and 50 of 72sqm size. The project was expected to be completed in 10 months from the date of signing the contract.

Red Sea Housing Services PNG general manager Kenneth Clinton said:  “The agreement provides a turnkey solution for the immediate needs of the Royal PNG Constabulary in the National Capital District.

He said by building the new housing units, the government intended to boost the morale of the members of the police force and further their exceptional level of professionalism in serving the people of Papua New Guinea.
