How will OBE benefit students?

THE vision to equip all students is an excellent one.
But the method to reaching this goal, through outcome-based education (OBE) is weak.
In primary level, students are asked to carve paddles, make model bush-material houses, create hunting tools, etc.
Unfortunately, parents do these for their children.
As they enter high school, they are required to write speeches, compile reports, write stories, compose letters of complaints, etc.
Sadly, their command of English is poor and they struggle.
Meanwhile, the poor teachers, with no proper materials to use due to limited resources, are expected to become inventors and creators.
My main question is this: How is OBE going to benefit students?
Thus far, it has remained a mystery.
